rocketboyIn case you haven't noticed, OrangePixel is one of the leading mobile companies who have been bringing us great games for our cellphones to break the daily deadbeat boredom (remember SliderKids and BubbleBee Quicktype?).

And now, OrangePixel is back once again with the adorable OneKey mobile hero in RocketBoy 2: Diamond Fever. In case you're wondering about the "OneKey" reference to the character, well, RocketBoy is famous for being a game character that's manipulable using only one key.

Yep, pressing one key will allow you to use your rocketboots, navigate through game environments, collect the diamonds, and avoid your foes like Bombee's, Bouncers, Electode's and the Bully Bullets. With over 45 levels, four different worlds, colorful graphics, and a rockin' soundtrack, RocketBoy is one of the few mobile games that has been making waves in the mobile gaming industry.

You can now download the full game version at orangepixel.net, but if you're still a bit hesitant about getting the game in all its glory, you can try it out and take RocketBoy for a spin by getting the shareware version at the GetJar site which you can access via the Read link below. Here are a few screens to give you a glimpse of the rockin' Rocketboy in his equally rockin' rocketboots. Enjoy!

Bubble Bee QuicktypeOrangePixel, the same company who brought us Sliderkids waaay back in June, is back with another adorably nifty mobile game called Bubble Bee Quicktype.

This time though, they collaborated with South Africa-based developer SmallFry Mobile to bring us Bubble Bee Quicktype, which will not only help you whisk away the hours of boredom but also help you learn to type faster using your cellphones. Think of it as TypingTutor for mobiles.

How to play: all you have to do is type the displayed words in the floating bubbles before they pop and disappear. As you progress through the game, the words become longer and the bubbles float faster -- thus pressuring you to flex those finger muscles as you type as fast as you can.

Bubble Bee Quicktype has three play modes, a massive word list and infinite number of levels. So if you're the type of person who's always on the run yet has grown highly addicted to sending SMS to your friends and/or colleagues, perfecting your typing skills would definitely help a lot so you wouldn't even have to look at your mobile's screen while typing. Make sure you check with your service providers for game availability.

SliderkidsOrangePixel is parading their new release. What is it? A mobile game called Sliderkids! According to the people at OrangePixel, Sliderkids is a game that is blessed with fast gameplay and colorful graphics. They are keeping their fingers crossed that these elements should prove to be an interesting challenge to both casual gamers and hardcore gamers.

You control your cutesy character with only one key, pressing it at the right times to jump from the ramps and do tricks while in mid-air. The timing starts pretty simple but as you progress, your reflex skills will need to get alot better as ramps follow each other more rapidly.

It is also fully equipped with the needed soundtrack to complement your gaming experience. It also has some unlockable characters, and the way combos' and tricking can increase your score should keep players coming back to attack the highscores.

If this game floats your boat, then you should be happy to know that Sliderkids is now available in the online highscore service. But if you don't wanna go through all that trouble, then you can wait for it to be distributed to various operator, portals and wap sites around the world. For now, we have some screens to share to you.
