T-Mobile integrates the MySpace service into their Sidekick mobiles - Image 1Still can't get enough of your MySpace experience even when you're on the go? Well, T-Mobile USA, MySpace and Danger. have some good news for T-Mobile Sidekick users looking to have complete control over their MySpace universe right from the palm of their hands.

The MySpace Mobile software will be available for download at the T-Mobile Sidekick website which integrates the mobile's hardware, user interface and applications and optimize them into all the features that MySpace users love on the PC.

Aside from the intuitive user interface the service provides through the T-Mobile Sidekick, it gives real-time updates that users can access as they stay signed in to their MySpace account on the go. Danger has provided an interconnection service to MySpace which makes such real-time access possible. Other features of the service also include:
  • Profile editing, which allows users to edit their MySpace profile directly from the MySpace application, quickly and easily, wherever they are. Profile updates are immediately reflected on the MySpace Web site.
  • Optimized photo management, which empowers users to — with the click of a button — upload photos with captions from their T-Mobile Sidekick photo galleries, directly to MySpace.
  • Full-featured MySpace messaging, including push content and notifications powered by the Danger service. The service automatically pushes content, such as new friend requests or new messages, to the end user, meaning that users are notified of new MySpace activity even when they are using other T-Mobile Sidekick applications. This changes the interaction paradigm from request/ response (as it is via the browser today) to real-time, push messaging.
  • The application will provide "Online Now" status for a user's friends who are online, further advancing the "always-on" model.
  • Users can read, reply to or post comments to the profiles and photos of friends, as well as read and reply to comments on their own profiles.

Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail - Image 1Vivendi Games Mobile, a division of Vivendi Games, is giving European mobile phone subscribers a chance to win a Nintendo Wii video game system in exchange for their "worst ever date" stories.

"Terrible dates are something that everyone experiences but few ever really talk about, so this is a chance to celebrate Larryness and engage in some collective laughter therapy courtesy of Nintendo and MySpace," said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile.

This contest is part of Vivendi's campaign to drum up support for the recently-launched mobile game Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail. The game is now available on wireless networks throughout Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe. Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail will soon be launching on carriers in North America as well.

Those interested have until August 8 to post their worst date story to the Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail Myspace web page and add Larry as their "top friend." You can click on the Read link to head there. There will be five winners in all - one each from the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Fuse BoxWho knew kids could lead such busy, busy lives nowadays? So parents who wish to instill some organizational skills to their young 'uns would be happy to know that MGA Entertainment has come up with a contraption that is being packaged as the BlackBerry for kids -- that is the Fuse Box, the PDA for ages 3-12.

This contraption seems to want to convey to devoted parents that the carefree days of childhood is so 1980s, because a kid's life today could get hectic as hell. Hmm, I wonder what they're going to jot down in their PDAs' calendars and schedulers--  10a.m.- cancel playdate (pretend to be sick), 11a.m.- check MySpace, 1p.m.- watch a movie, 6p.m.- meet up with WoW clan, 9p.m.- pretend to brush teeth. So on?

Enough with the jib-jabs. Anyway, on a more serious note, this device has Wi-Fi and lets kids send text messages to each other and to Mum or Dad (talking on cell phones is so last year). The best part of the bargain: no monthly subscription is required. This will cost you, great parents of the world, 70 bucks. Plus your offsprings will be the most popular kid in grade school...until the next hot contraption comes along.
