The Meizu M8 Mini One cellular phone has just received a redesign and will soon be released in black. Aside from that, the mobile phone now has a bigger LCD screen compared to the previous build.

Furthermore, the phone will be available in 4, 8, and 16GB models for 1990, 2390,  and 2990 respectively (US$ 265/US$ 320/US$ 400). Aside from already mentioned, here are its other features:

• Pretty slim form factor at 57x105x11.5-mm
• Has both a GSM and Chinese TD-SCDMA 3G radio
• Sports a 3.4-inch 720x480 pixel display
• Bluetooth
• A three megapixel camera (in the standard version)
• An ARM11 CPU capable of recording video at 30 fps at the device's full 720x480 resolution

Fans of Meizu products will be pleased to know that full renders of the product as well as a working model of the Meizu M8 Mini One have already been made. Take note, however, that it won't be publicly released until Meizu CEO J. Wong has given approval.

After just a few weeks since Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone, it seems like it already has a Chinese look a-like, and a beefy competition at that. Chinese company Meizu, who has found their niche in making mp3 players, has concocted a cellphone called M8, which has an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone.

It has a smaller 3.3 screen which has a 720 x 480 resolution. It also has touch screen functionality like the iPhone, is powered by a ARM11 processor and runs on Win CE 60 OS. Aside from that, it also has Bluetooth, a TV-out feature, and what appears to be two integrated cameras - a three megapixel cam at its back and a 0.3 megapixel at the front.

We still don't have any info about its price tag and availability. But we're betting that it would be cheaper than the iPhone. Anyhow, we'll update you about this as more info comes our way.
