Logitec - not Logitech

While Skype is slowly joining the mobile phone market, the Japanese tech-company Logitec has just released their Skype WiFi Mobile Phone (LAN-WSPH01WH). If you take a look at the packaging, you will notice that the phone can be compatible with either a B or G wireless connection. Of course, since it has WiFi connectivity, you won't need to connect to a PC to place an internet call. From your Skype phone, you can directly connect to your Skype contacts.

The downside of this though is that you have to be in a hotspot in order to connect. Or do you? This phone also has bluetooth capabilities. Meaning, if you're not in a WiFi hotspot, you can connect via bluetooth to a computer that's already connected to the net, and place a call through that computer. Ingenious, eh?
