Custom Laptop

Laptops are generally the usual bore. If you turned up to the library with one, chances are yours would look just the same as the next one, and most likely be made by one of the large Laptop making companies such as Toshiba or Dell. A little bit of customization wouldn't hurt, would it? This is where  the Averatec 1050 comes in.

This sleek-looking laptop isn't your bog-standard Dell with a Averatec badge on. All laptops in the 1050 range can be customized the way you want them to be, with any picture you like on the front. The 1050 comes bundled with a 1.1Ghz power saving processor, 512Mb of Ram and Windows XP. Although the specs may not astound you, the ability to have whatever photos you like (keep it clean) on the front of your laptop screen is great.

The Averatec 1050 series can be yours for £999/$1800 through the Averatec online store. Currently the 1050 series is only available in their European store, but should reach the US store soon. The price tag may seem a bit steep for a low-spec laptop, but you can't put a price on customization.

Note: No laptops were actually floating during the making of this article.
