We're not sure how they put the cards inside the cellular phone, but
they're cards, so you might as well use them. Glu Mobile's already come
out with their World Series of Poker Texas Hold'em
game for the mobile phone, and it seems fitting that we mention it for
all the mobile users out there who love poker and want to take it with
them everywhere. Featuring the likeness of "Jesus," known to poker players everywhere as Chris Ferguson, players can opt to play rounds against the program or try having a multiplayer game with real people. Ferguson acts as your adviser in the game, giving you tips and hints on beating your opponents and improving your strategy. The game also supports three types of betting structures and game types. For game types, you can choose from Standard Tournament, Shootout Tournament, and Standard Ring Game. For betting, there's Limit, Pot-Limit and No Limit betting setups. While it doesn't have the graphical polish of a console game, you can be sure that the exhilaration of beating your opponents with a well-played hand will still be here. While you're thinking about getting it, why not enjoy these screenshots, and then place a bet on this poker game for your mobile? |

Being a gangster ain't so bad. You get the girls, the money, and the power - not to mention them blings. Unfortunately, the farthest we can go to being a gangster is picking our li'l sis' piggy bank for some loose change. Until we heard about this game. You can now practice being a hoodlum by downloading Goodfellas Mobile: Hoodlum into your mobile phone. In this game, you'll start on the bottom and work hard - or be 'bad' - to rise to the top. You'll be doing some hijacking, gambling, and robbing - y' know, the thug life - to get ahead. One mistake, and it just may be your last...or not, you can always restart the game. Some of the cooler things on this one is its two parts: Mobster Management, where you'll be doing a lot of micromanagement - thought the gangster life was easy, eh? The other part is the excellent weekly Poker game (phone-dependent), where you play for respect and money. Another feature is the time setting. You play through the roaring 50s down to the angst-filled 70s. Well, what are you waiting for? Lit up yer cigars and begin the life of the left. |
