First off, we here at QJ would want to thank annony-mouse for the tip! With that said, let's jump right to the topic of this post. We know that the Nokia N93 has already been shipped, in fact the Gary Oldman short film made using the nifty Nokia phone has already been released. So why are we reporting about a YouTube vid about the N93 user interface?
Well, just in case you are searching for a cellphone or you just wanna see some of N93's features, then this video is for you. It's seven-minutes long and was posted by cal8887. He mentioned that he "tv-outed" his N93 to his laptop's USB TV tuner so that others could see the phone's features and capabilities. Aside from that, if you're thinking of buying the N-Gage II come September, you should also take a look at this vid. Apparently, it also shows gameplay snippets of System Rush Demo, one of Nokia's next-gen N-gage games. So with that, click play and watch the vid. |

Nokia has been rumored to re-enter the handhelds game market for quite a while now. There are a lot of hushed talks about it, but the giant mobile phone manufacturer has been playing mind games with both the competition and consumers as well. Apparently all those end today.Online site Pocket Gamer mentioned that Nokia actually held a top-secret workshop for publishers and developers in Santa Monica last week. Accordingly, the company unveiled N-Gage II for the first time in the said workshop and provided the attendees with its technical aspects. A lot of analysts actually credit the original N-Gage's failure to lack of games but if these attendees are serious on making games for Nokia, then we're sure that there will be hell to pay for Nintendo and Sony. Those who were at the workshop are as follows: Disney, Sega Of America, Sony Online Entertainment, Universal, Square Enix, Capcom, THQ Wireless, Glu Mobile, Digital Chocolate, EA Mobile, Tecmo, Namco, Vivendi Games, and first party developers Backbone Entertainment and Foundation9. Furthermore, Nokia explained how next-gen N-Gage games will be distributed as well as something called the "N-Gage activation code system." Would-be publishers are also said to be able to track and manage their own games. The on hand publishers also got their own SDKs as well. And so, is 2007 going to be the year the handhelds console war begins anew? This is going to be exciting. |
