Exit Games - Image 1Fusion seems to be the name of the game as Exit Games Neutron joins the efforts to make cross-platform gaming available. Exit Games software largely focused on multiplaying and general interconnectivity on mobile phones.

Starting now though, they plan to make the transition to the next generation as they plan to make cross-platform casual gaming possible on the Wii, PS3, PC, and mobile phones.

Harald Behnke, CEO of Exit Games, says about the new tech:

Neutron continues to lead the way with innovations that enhance social gaming capabilities. Cross-platform connectivity enables our customers to build game communities that reach over three billion devices, making Neutron a much anticipated multiplayer solution for true mass market casual gaming.

Although we probably won't see this new tech hosting cross-platform multiplaying for games like Unreal Tournament III, we might expect some games like Chess, Checkers and maybe even the classic Arkanoid make their cross-platform debut. Exit Games will be featuring this tech at the Leipzig Games Convention from August 23-26 at booth I51.

Exit Games-Darts

Exit Games, a provider of mobile games and other entertainment software, has just announced that they will be bringing their services to the Japanese market.

Some of you might remember Exit Games from Penalty Cup 3D, wherein their mobile multiplayer solution called Neutron made it possible for mobile users all over the globe to play ala-World Cup via GPRS connectivity. Exit Games has previously worked on bringing their casual games to other Asian countries such as India, Hong Kong, and Singapore. And now, they're extending their multiplayer services to Japan as well, with Brick Challenge, Catapults, and Darts.

The said games will be published by Media Socket Inc., a mobile games developer in Japan. Rikiya Takigasaki, International Business Development Manager of Media Socket, says, "Exit Games Neutron is the platform of choice because it enables global multiplayer gaming and connects users regardless of device."

Tom Sperry, CEO of Exit Games USA, remains highly optimistic about their entry to the Japanese market as well, saying that "The release of Brick Challenge, Catapults and Darts in Japan marks an important step in our approach to bringing sophisticated multiplayer gaming experiences to the world’s largest and most advanced mobile markets."

As the name suggests, the game isn't a full soccer match but it highlights the most dramatic part of soccer which is the penalty shootout. Users can fully customize their player of choice by picking a gender and nationality for their character.
