What was that old British Special Air Service motto again? "Who dares wins," was it? Maybe someone at mobile phone giant Motorola found some inspiration from that and started using unconventional market tactics. Don't look now but Motorola is promoting on Digg.

It only had a single Digg after almost a day. But that doesn't matter, really. It made their product, the Motorola Q 9h more visible to readers and their site page is actually getting promotions from Diggers. The only really weird thing is that the "new" handset it's advertising is actually new only in name. It has all the same features as its predecessor in the series.

We commend Motorola for the nice idea. It's pretty interesting to see that these multinational companies have a feel of where to take their business to get to core audiences. Let's see if other outfits follow the lead.
