PriusNote type KWhen was the last time productivity was on your mind while buying a computer? Well in my case, I don't remember anymore. The first thing that comes to my head is entertainment. Nowadays, that's what these computers are for. Especially whenever we are on the road. When we get bored while travelling, we turn to our laptops for help. Most of the time sadly, they disappoint us.

That's why the new Hitachi laptop model is such a juicy release for most of us. The design of notebook PriusNote type K (Hitachi PN39K1S) was molded from entertainment fantasies. On top of the list of its key features is the ultra-bright 15.4-inch WXGA display. Now couple this with a DVD Super-Multi drive and its close to bringing the very theaters with you.

Did we mention about the 3W subwoofer? How about the built-in digital TV tuner and DVR capabilities? We did not? Our bad, we must have been dreaming. By the way, the machine is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.66GHz), 120 GB hard drive and one full gig of DDR2 SDRAM. The 6.3-pound Hitachi PN39K1S measures 365 x 265 x 32.8 - 35.3mm.

It will come out on October 26 with a price tag of $2,236. I'm sorry, how much? Oh, I guess we'll just keep dreaming from now.
