Here to finally splash some color onto the black and white dominated laptop world is Samsung Q40. The 128 MB Intel Integrated graphics support its 12.1" Widescreen SuperClear Display. Q40 has also been accessorized further with Bluetooth, 2 x USB and 1 x Firewire. And with its Lithium Ion battery, there is most certainly enough time for primping as it lasts for a good three hours.Windows XP Professional and Norton Anti Virus have also been thrown in to ensure that this hot chic is no bimbo. Surprisingly weighing in at only 1.15kg (2.53 pounds),and is about just an inch thick, this newcomer surely will turn heads! If you're interested in this beauty, you better be ready to dish out $ 2460. |

Sony has added the VAIO TX72 to its TX3 line of ultraportable widescreen laptops. While the TX72 sports an eye-catching sleek design, some of you may be put off by its Intel Core Solo processing power. Plus, as if to add insult to injury, it only runs at clock speed of 1.2GHz.
The TX72 comes with 512MB RAM and 80GB HDD capacity. You can opt for the lower storage capacities (40GB & 60GB), but would you really? Other than that, the TX72 still looks great with it's 11.1-inch widescreen LCD with LED backlighting. Battery life is at 10 hours with the Core Solo, or 7 hours if configured with 1.06Hgz Celeron M. It also features dual-layer DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The 3-pound TX72 will be available in Japan later this month for 229,800 Yen (about $2000).
