YouTube Expands YouTube Mobile, Adds Java App - Image 1

YouTube has expanded its mobile service. When the service was first launched, YouTube Mobile subscribers could only watch a limited selection of videos; now they have a larger catalog of videos to choose from.

Users will also be able to directly upload videos from their mobile phones and access other YouTube services such as commenting and rating other videos. They can also access features from their personal accounts such as favorites, videos and channels.

YouTube Mobile requires mobile devices to be capable of streaming (RTSP) as well as have a 3G operator. As an alternative, certain phones can download a free Java app (currently in beta) that can view YouTube videos.

To access the service, tune your mobile devices to m.youtube.com.
