The Shroud

Your World Games and SONY BMG inked an agreement to develop a new cutting-edge mobile game called The Shroud.
The gamecombines a community-based RPG with a GPS game mode. The gameplay will have mobile players protecting their own farming community from mysterious forces. In between battling the forces of evil, gamers will complete side quests such as mining and fishing.

“The Shroud delivers a powerful combination – an interactive product with the depth of a console videogame along with GPS technology,” said SONY BMG. The Shroud will have various competitive elements as part of the ‘International Farmer’s League’ and via GPS challenges for GPS-enabled cell phones. The game will be available worldwide but a release date was not announced.
