StreamMyGame video game and 2D application streaming service - Image 1True to their word, the StreamMyGame service has delivered a new batch of features, with the biggest one allowing you to run 2D applications such as Microsoft Office on your low spec Windows notebooks, Linux devices, and even your PlayStation 3.

While the service originally features video game streaming from your PC to your console, this new feature is a big step in its promise to deliver more practical streaming applications to consoles and other web-enabled devices.

All 2D applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, XP Media Center, and even Photoshop along with commercial applications such as MYSQL Administrator and SAP's Database Manager can now be used remotely on other devices or consoles.

Also, gamers who use Valve Corporation's Steam download client service can now use StreamMyGame to remotely see Steam's 2D launcher. They can now play games found on the Steam launcher and record, broadcast or stream them, even to the PlayStation 3.

StreamMyGame plans to extend its service by allowing users to play games or use applications remotely over broadband networks by late March of this year. There are also plans to release an office version of this technology later this year.
