Google Phone - Image 1Plans to make the oft-mentioned but mysterious Google Phone seem to finally be materializing in the near future. Samsung Electronics, one of the leading manufacturers of mobile phones, plans to roll out cellular phones based on Google's own mobile platform, the Android.

The handsets are set to be rolled out sometime early next year. But that's not the only thing that Samsung has in mind right now. The cellular phone mogul is also set on launching phones with WiMax technology this year. For those not familiar with the term, WiMax is similar to Wi-Fi, only with a wider range as well as stronger signals.
Seems like it's another phone that's worth looking out for. Check this space for more updates.
