A pocket version of Etch A Sketch - Image 1

Mobile media company Player X and online game developer FreezeTag have joined forces to co-launch both a mobile and an online game version of the classic Etch-A-Sketch toy. Player X will be drawing upon its distribution network of more than one hundred fifty global carriers in order to reach a potential audience of 2.5 billion players.

The new versions of Etch-A-Sketch will feature more than just the creative drawing action of the classic toy, though. Player X and FreezeTag have also included more than one hundred levels of arcade-style games, as well as new Etch A Sketch-themed characters knows as "Knobbies."

Player X's and FreezeTag's mobile version of Etch-A-Sketch will be available in December, while the online version will be available the following month. With these new versions, Player X and FreezeTag hope to targeting both Baby Boomers who are familiar with the classic version of Etch-A-Sketch and a new generation of casual gamers as well.
