Horse race - Image 1Player One Sports has acquired the rights to stream races and develop games for one of the world's premiere horse racing leagues, the United Kingdom's Grand National.

Player One intends to bring the thrills and spills to the mobile platform to take fans closer to the races even while they're on the go. What's more, the fans themselves can live their jockey fantasies by getting the game in their phones and testing their skills on track.

Player One managing director Pete Russell was happy with the deal and said, "the Grand National content produced for this year’s race is wonderfully diverse and is a great endorsement of our channel strategy."

The Grand National has been around for 150 years and is still among the bigger sports events in the UK. All major networks in the UK will carry Player One's products and will be released when the races open on the 12th of April, 2007.
