One Laptop Per Child's XO to run Windows in 60 days, says Negroponte - Image 1The big wig One Laptop Per Child or OPLC has just made it known to the whole world that they will be using the Windows OS in the XO laptop.

In addition to this news, Nicholas Negroponte said that they'd be able to do such a feat in 60 days or less. As of this writing, the operating systems is in the middle of being fine-tuned for the XO laptop.

Negroponte noted that, "Microsoft and OLPC are in discussion on how to release it, as well as how to announce." This is certainly an interesting event for the company and their highly-acclaimed XO laptop.

As to how things will develop in the future, we'll keep you guys posted on the latest updates on this matter.
