Nokia has added four new phones to their already expansive line. This new batch is aimed at people who want to replace their old phones with new and better ones, but are keeping a tight grip on their wallets.

These phones offer well-balanced features at an affordable price. These are (pictured above, from left to right) are the Nokia 5000, 2680 slide, 7070 prism, and 1680 classic. The four mostly differ in aesthetics rather than in features.

The 5000 is a notable entry in this batch as it's Nokia's cheapest megapixel camera so far. It offers a 1.5 megapixel camera with high-res QVGA display, and will retail at  EUR 90 (US$ 142),  The phone will also come with an FM Radio, GPRS, and other features.

The rest of the phones will more or less have the same features as the 5000. The 2680 slide will retail for EUR 75 (US$ 118), and both the 7070 prism and 1680 classic will retail for EUR 50 (US$ 79). All four will begin shipping before the fourth quarter of this year.

Aside from the new phones, Nokia will also be introducing a local mobile email solution exclusively for South Africa. The new Nokia devices will be configured for the service as well. Called Webmobile, the service will launch by the second quarter of this year.
