Nokia to introduce more phones in U.S. this year - Image 1Although it currently has the lion's share of the global mobile phone market, Nokia is still struggling to get a bigger piece of the market in the U.S., due mainly to its decision to drop production of CDMA phones.

The company is hoping that the situation will change soon, though. Nokia chief designer Alastair Curtis has been quoted as saying that more Nokia phones will become available in the U.S. in the coming months.

A spokesman from the company also said that more new models will be making their way to the U.S. this year, including brand-new CDMA phones. Models tailored for use with U.S. carriers are also on their way.
