In a recent survey that the Nokia Corporation conducted in emerging markets, they were able to find out that phone sharing was a growing trend. More than fifty percent of the respondents from India and Pakistan indicated that they share or would share their mobile phones with family or friends.

On the other hand, the 2600 classic has already begun shipping and will retail for about 65 euros (US$ 94).

The 1209 has useful features for the people to easily share it. Features like the multiple phonebook to support phone sharing, Bluetooth to share multimedia files with no difficulty, and a pre-paid tracker to track costs, can be found within the 1209. The phone also offers up to 80 languages.

The 2600 classic allows users to customize their phone with the Xpress-on covers. An assortment of entertainment features are provided within the phone along with an FM radio and a VGA camera for the 2600 classic.
