Nokia Comes With Music - Image 1The annual Nokia World conference today played host to the announcement of Nokia Comes With Music, a new program that lets people buy a Nokia device with a year of unlimited access to a huge library of music tracks. When their subscriptions run out, users can still keep all of the music they downloaded.

Anssi Vankoji, Nokia's executive VP and GM for Multimedia, assured conference attendees and customers that the program's music library is indeed well stocked. "Even if you listened to music 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you would still only scratch the surface of the music that we're making available," said Vankoji.

The Nokia Comes With Music program will launch with Universal Music Group International. Nokia is reportedly still in discussion with other major international labels, presumably including Warner Music Group, who pulled out of Nokia's music service last month due to concerns about illegal downloads.
