nokia n71-2As of the 12th of August, Nokia has made commercially available its first Japan-released phone under the Nseries brand. Nokia N71 has been customized for Japan's Vodafone K.K. and is marketed as "Nokia N71 (Vodafone 804NK)" in Vodafone's 3G lineup.

N71 is actually the fourth of the 3G models that Nokia has provided Vodafone - following suit N6650 (V-NM701), N6630 (Vodafone 702NK), and N6680 (Vodafone 702NK II). Styled in a simple yet elegant clamshell form, N71 guarantees superb 3G functionality as a rich multimedia device. It has a music player function and FM radio, a 2-megapixel camera, office documents viewer (compatible to file documents of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint 97/2000/XP), e-mail client, and synchronization capabilities with compatible PCS.

N71 will also support the new Nokia Web Browser, enabling you to find your way around the web page with the its Mini Map feature, as well as display the thumbnail of the history, thus allowing you maximum enjoyment of the sites you check on PCs.

The Nokia NSeries were launched last year, and has introduced nine new models to-date. During the second quarter of 2006, Nokia had sold more than the million Nokia NSeries devices to the market.
