Motorola's sponsoring a new contest, where two lucky winners can net the chance of having their own mobile game published by the phone manufacturer. It's the Motodev Game Developer challenge, and there's a lot you can do to get yourself noticed.

According to Gaming Angels, there are two contest categories you can join in. First off, you can win as Best Java Software game, making your game playable on the Motorola MotoKRZR. Second, they're also looking for the best Windows Mobile game, which will be played on the Moto Q.

Game Angels also notes that you have quite a bit of time left to make a game. They write,

Open to all registered MOTODEV developers, the MOTODEV Game Developer Challenge is accepting submissions beginning today and continuing until August 10, 2007. A panel of judges representing Motorola, I-play, and other contest marketing allies will evaluate entries based on uniqueness, fun factor, design, operation and innovation in visual arts and audio. Category winners will be announced in the fall of 2007.
