MGS4 Bluetooth headset - Image 1Yeah, so Sony's already offering an extremely-limited edition wireless headset as a tie-in for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Even if you miss out on those babies, here's a Bluetooth headset that may just be the bandage for your wounds.

For US$ 59.99, you can get yourself a Bluetooth MGS4 headset. See the pic to the right (taken from peripheral manufacture PDP's catalog) for a closer look at this gorgeous, gorgeous piece of equipment. It's compatible with other PS3 games supporting voice communication as well as your own mobile phone.

The Bluetooth MGS4 headset ("Straight from Snake's item inventory to your living room" as the catalog suggests) features up to 8 hours of talk time, a range of 30 feet and an auto shut-off function. It also comes with its own carrying case. It's scheduled for launch on June 12, same as Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

According to Kotaku, the headset has already been sighted in retail databases across Europe and the U.S. Keep checking back here for more updates.
