Logitec Bluetooth 2.1 adapter: 300 foot range, longer battery life - Image 1Last month, the guys at Princeton released a tiny Bluetooth adapter that offered a 300-foot diameter signal range, with Bluetooth 2.0 and EDR technology.

While this new gadget from Logitec may not be able to match the Princeton model's 4.5 x 23 x 14 mm measurements, it's still trying to beat it in terms of tech.

Logitec's new Bluetooth adapter offers Bluetooth 2.1, with EDR technology and Class 1 transceiver. It supports 15 different Bluetooth profiles, and offers up to 100-meter diameter signal range (about 300 feet).

The device weighs in at 19.2 x 9.0 x 59.6 mm, and costs JP¥ 2,280 (US$ 22). What it lacks in size as compared to the Princeton model, it makes up for in battery life. It can last up to 5x longer than Bluetooth keyboards and mice with the same specs.
