Gothic 3 - the Beginning for mobile screenshot - Image 1 Hot on the heels of the warmly-received Gothic 3 - The Beginning's success, independent mobile games developer HandyGames announced its plans to invade the Nintendo DS.

Don't hope for anything new yet for your favorite Nintendo handheld. As part of their medium-term vision, HandyGames will just port its successful mobile games including Panzer Tactics, My Model Train, and Townsmen or Flitzer among others to the DS.

But that's not a bad deal altogether. Remember when anticipation for Gothic 3 was high even before its release? HandyGames delivered on that, showing the company's capable of good things. And hey, the devs are here for the long haul too. CEO Christopher Kassulke just described their Nintendo DS venture as a "good long-term business model."
