Game Connect: Asia PAcific 2007 - Image 1 


At the conclusion of Game Connect: Asia Pacific, the Game Developer's Association of Australia awarded the best game developers from Australia and New Zealand. Eligibility for the awards is simple: the game had to be developed by Australians or New Zealanders.

As Medieval II took home the most awards last year, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (DS, PSP) swept up this year's awards with five awards, including Best Game. And the winners are:
  • Best Game – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
  • Best New Startup (Adam Lancman Award) - Redtribe
    • Special Commendation: Acheron Design
  • Best Console Title - Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
  • Best PC Title – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
    • Special Commendation: Fury (Auran)
  • Best Handheld Title – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
  • Best Mobile Title – The Fast & the Furious: Fugitive 3D (Firemint)
  • Best Gameplay – Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (Infinite Interactive)
  • Best Graphics – Viva Piñata: Party Animals (Krome Studios)
  • Best Audio - Viva Piñata: Party Animals (Krome Studios)
