Panasonic's Touch Book UMPC - with Intel's Atom processor - Image 1So far at this year's CeBIT, the giant computer expo, we've seen a smart robot called Zeno. Now that news from the expo has started trickling in, let's now check out what Panasonic has displayed in their booth: enter the Tough Book.

In case the image to the right or the name didn't give it away, the Tough Book is a new UMPC (Ultra Mobile Personal Computer) from Panasonic and it sports Intel's Atom processor. According to the press release, it features an "ultra tough design," Windows Vista compatibility, and a 5.6-inch LCD touch screen.

Perfect for those who want to stay connected whilst on the great outdoors. Or maybe those with job that requires them to be somewhere damp and dirty. The Tough Book will be available in Japan come autumn this year.
