Asustek's budget laptop line Eee PCs will soon have a snazzy upgrade coming its way: Eee PCs with touch screen panels. The next-generation Eee PCs will come in three different touch screen sizes - 8", 9" and 10" - but contrary to what most people may think, the integration of touch screen panels will only cost under US$ 15, just the right price for the budget laptop line.

Sources from Asustek reported that the computer manufacturer may prefer working with Taiwan-based vendors in producing the newest batch of Eee PCs, which may amount to only a several hundred thousand units produced within 2008.
