The EeePC, Asustek's wonder laptops, will be hitting the desktop markets soon, and we can't be any more happier. For those who still aren't acquainted with Asus' ultra-budget laptop series, the EeePC laptops offer competitive performance once can usually find in current laptops, but with prices that no other portable computers can beat.

The desktop versions of the Eee PC will be produced and launched sometime in 2008. Jonathan Tseng, Asustek's marketing president, said that the EeePC desktop will not include a display. Pricing information and relevant specifications are yet to be announced at this point.

We just can't wait to find out what its starting price would be, in desktop terms. Check this space for more updates!
