Another patent for PSP phone surfaces, indicates use of touchscreen display - Image 1As you all know, rumors about the existence of a PSP Phone has been going on for a while now. One of the main reasons that this persists are the new pieces of evidence popping up every now and then.

For instance, take this newly-discovered patent filed by Sony Ericsson Mobile back in 2006 which recently surfaced on the internet.

The patent itself is titled "Orientation based multiple mode mechanically vibrated touchscreen display“ and details a device with a full touchscreen that could emulate the setup of the PlayStation Portable.

Aside from that, the device being patented also comes with a tactile feedback response that  "provides a greater user experience as well as a truer sense that the input was indeed received by the device".

As of now, no Sony division has yet to comment on this patent. If you want to know more details regarding this, you can refer to the source link below as it will take you to the official U.S. Patent Application page for the device mentioned above.
